After several years running creative teams at Jamie Oliver and for a major US health and wellness brand, I decided that I wanted to get back to what I love doing most, designing! I felt I had so much more to offer than sitting in corporate meetings, and frustrated with the design industry I wanted to offer a different type of service. My Design Buddy is perfect for all types of businesses, whether your a design agency or in-house team needing additional creative support, or a business looking for a quick, efficient and reliable design service without the hassle of contracts and the lengthly process that takes.
You'll receive a welcome email from me almost immediately, i'll then set you up an account on Trello, a platform that will allow you to make design requests and keep track of progress. At this point we'll jump on a welcome call and I can take you through the platform and answer any immediate questions.
All the designs are done by one person, me! This means no out-sourcing and no freelancers. I may call on specialists from time to time, for example if the project requires some wonderful animation, but for everything else you can be guaranteed that I will be working on your project.
Yes, once you are happy with the designs and everything's fully signed off I'll pass the source files over to you.
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator Indesign and Figma.
There will never be any surprise hidden costs. If a project requires specific specialist support, for example animation or web development then there would be additional cost, but this would be discussed with you first, and only once I have your consent will I proceed. Everything from fonts to images will be free and included in your package.
Design requests are unlimited but will be worked on and delivered one at a time.
Simple, you can pause or cancel at any point.
Typically you will receive the designs within 2-3 days, depending on the type of project request. As soon as your design request is submitted I'll be in touch with timings, so you'll know exactly when you can expect to see something.
If design work has already started then no, but if you've selected a subscription package but decide it's not for you (and providing design hasn't started) then you can receive a refund.
